Xavier began his career as a lawyer at U.S. firm Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe, where he advised banks and international corporations on structured financings, with a focus on securitization, derivative transactions, private equity financings, and restructurings.
In 2010, he joined Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking (SGCIB), as General Counsel, overseeing the global Commodities division. At SGCIB, Xavier worked on a wide range of transactions covering trade finance, project finance, mining, energy trading, bespoke derivatives, and mergers and acquisitions.
In 2014, he joined Reyl Intesa Sanpaolo in Geneva where he was appointed Head of Corporate Finance.
At Reyl Intesa San Paolo, Xavier led a team of over 20 investment banking professionals focusing on mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, debt advisory, and private equity.
Xavier graduated from the Paris Bar School, Paul Cézanne University (International Business Law, 2001), HEC Business School (International Law and Management, 2002), and Paris Descartes University (Contract Law, 2003).
